Art collections evolve alongside the people who live with them. Alison offers a thoughtful, artist-led perspective on selecting, placing, framing, rotating, and adding to existing collections - whether reimagining the art you already own or sourcing new work from artists, studios, and galleries.
Advisory consultations are available for homes and offices and are tailored to the needs of each collection and space.
Sometimes you don’t need another painting. You need to move this one over here, reframe the piece you’ve had for fifteen years, pull something meaningful out of a drawer, or finally find the right place for the artwork you inherited and could never quite make work.
Living with art begins with connecting to what you already own and cherish. Alison offers an artist’s eye to help rethink placement, framing, rotation and display - bringing original art, collected pieces and meaningful personal objects together in a way that feels considered, personal and entirely your own.
And when something really is missing, Alison can help you find it - connecting you with artists, studios, galleries and artwork that complement both your collection and the way you live. When sourcing new artwork, Alison works independently and does not receive commissions or referral fees from artists, studios or galleries. Recommendations are made solely with your collection, space and personal connection in mind.
Consultations
Every collection—and every space—is different. Art Advisory consultations are tailored to what you already own, how you live with it, and where you may want your collection to go next.
A consultation might begin with rethinking the placement of a single piece or evolve into reimagining an entire collection. Together, we can rotate and rearrange artwork, rediscover pieces tucked away in storage, incorporate personal or sentimental objects, explore framing options, identify what may be missing, or source new work from artists, studios and galleries.
Consultations are available for residential and commercial spaces and may be structured hourly, by the day, or as a project based on scope. Larger projects, ongoing sourcing and multi-visit engagements can be tailored accordingly.
On-site consultations are available within 25 miles of Alison’s Houston studio. Projects beyond this area are welcome, with travel fees determined by location.
